The future of the technical thinking gathered, for the fourth consecutive year, young inventors from the whole country at a Competition-exhibition “Youth Technical Creative Works”. The event took place on 9-10 October 2019 in the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa. School teams from the whole country presented their own designs related to robotics, electronics, energy, and other technical domains.

Students in the 11th and 12th grades of the Vocational High School of Nuclear Energy Igor Kurchatov also participated with their designs of scale models and robotised applications, supervised by dipl. eng. Valentina Staneva and dipl. eng. Tatyana Bogoeva. The Vocational High School of Nuclear Energy team was represented by Yonatan Dimitrov, Rostislav Todorov, Stefan Ivanov, and Miroslav Mitev. They presented a robotised car, typing watch and a system for measuring of electrical quantities.

The event was attended by representatives of industrial companies, as well as prominent guests from the Ministry of Education and the Municipality of Gorna Oryahovitsa.

The aim of the exhibition was to carry out a fruitful and sustainable sharing of ideas and contacts between students, teachers, representatives of the higher education, and employers from the industrial sector.

All the participants in the exhibition were awarded certificates of participation and incentive prizes. Our participants received a BGN 100 voucher from the company Elimex to purchase products for their future projects.
